Skiving...
Aug. 5th, 2006 10:14 amI should be at Aikido and I'm not. I woke up feeling so tired and groggy this morning I decided to skip it. I think it was 'cause I woke up about 5am and just kept dozing after that, it always makes me feel more tired :-( And it's been a busy couple of weeks, plus next weekend is an Aikido course. So having justified myself pointlessly, I'll move on to my next random thing.
Watched Usual Suspects last night, hadn't seen it in ages and even when you know the ending it's still a good film. Two things occurred, one I suspect I thought the last time I saw it, the other I'm not sure if I did or not it was that long ago. Anyway, "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist" - does anyone else think Methos then? Very loudly in fact?
The second thing was... how much touching was going on in that? Seriously. Keaton and McManus, McManus and Fenster, Hockney and McManus... hmm okay seeing a pattern here... no wait, Verbal and Keaton. Quite aside from all the language, it was - interesting, also vaguely tempting in a kind of non-specific muse way.
I plan to watch more dvds tonight - I really am making an honest attempt to reduce the backlog... although I will admit to forwarding through a lot of Charmed and Smallville and Viper, but really I don't see how I can possibly be blamed for that ;-)
