So... where are my muses? What is this?
kaiz reminded me about an old SG1 AU epic and it's made me realise I haven't written anything in ages :-( This is not good enough. Even the HL epic that ate my brain has been quiet.
I had an Ultraviolet dream a couple of nights ago, this was a step in the right direction, except all I can remember of it is that it was AU and it was reversed so the squad were the vampires. Why why why can I not remember any more of it than that? It looked so pretty and had such potential. Bizarrely I still haven't actually seen any more than that first ep; it's on my to-do list along with about 50 other dvds *sigh*
Maybe it's work; I've been enjoying it but it's been totally hectic with my boss off and I'm trying to cover for stuff I haven't had anything at all to do with. The first I know about some things is someone jumping up and down and saying why hasn't this been done? Still we're into the quiet-ish period now and theoretically my boss should be back in a fortnight... we'll see, she's only been more or less off since the May day holiday. On the plus side, pay restructuring has meant another £500 a year... or would if I worked my minimum hours, which I don't so yay! More money to spend on completely frivolous things. We'll just pretend I knew about the coming increase before I went on that Amazon spending spree the other week ;-)
In other news my youngest brother went back to Birmingham today and took his computer with him - this means I can't play Oblivion until either I go down there or he come back up here again *pout*
Well a quiet, grey afternoon, I think another cup of Jasmine tea and maybe make some inroads into that backlog of dvds...
