In no particular order...
1. Methos - dark, light, funny, serious... a man for all seasons ;-)
2. James Norrington - either incarnation, smarts and snark, power, control and a certain ruthlessness but never without purpose
3. Jack Sparrow - aside from the Depp factor, he'd drive you mad, but at least you'd enjoy the ride
4. Kronos - 'cause it would never be boring...
5. Jack Harkness - because he can be complex, but most often he's refreshingly direct about wat he wants ;-)
6. 10 - because he's a total geek and also very cute
7. Jack O'Neill - because he's smart and hides it and is highly amusing when he says what everyone else is thinking but is too polite to say
8. stuck now.... sheesh that didn't last long at all, oh wait, Simon Tam - loyal, pretty and smart, scheming when he has to be
Hmm, could add more, but they'd be more making up numbers and not massively fancied, just pretty or interesting enough to make the cut. I could be ruthless with this list even and reduce it even further, but nah... It occurs to me it would be sooooo easy to write a personal ad for me based on these...
Let's see... intelligent, snarky, good with weapons (can't say blades, 'cause they're not all about the sharp pointy things) probably, but not necessarily tall and quite likely to have the name Jack or a variation thereof ;-)
Maybe I'm too focused, I need a broader scope, but I can see some sort of meta essay thing coming out of this if I consider this too much. The thought also occurs that if you put that lot on an island together it would probably explode within about 20 minutes... either that or it would expand to become the central hub of a vast empire that would span the galaxy, several galaxies in fact, and last even longer than star trek re-runs...
Must stop thinking about how possible it would be with the combination of Immortality, space/time travel and screwy Fortune to put them all together, nevermind keeping them together given the tendency to fuck anything that some of them have and the borderline (or not so borderline) insane loyalty some of them have... No! Must. Stop. Now. Need. Help. Dragging. Brain. Away. From. The. Pretty...
