Ark! Ark!

I have a cold, it hit on Wednesday, this explains why I have been so tired of late. It has not yet gone away and I am getting rather annoyed. Everything sounds like it's underwater and my voice is... intermittent. I still don't even know where I got it from. Looking on the bright side it means I can currently do really good seal impressions and I am really rather glad there is no work tomorrow either. I am also sincerely hoping the cold goes before next weekend because otherwise that may be less than fun.

In other news, the cats are sleeping, the weather is overcast and occasionally wet, and I feel too restless to sit down and write - which is annoying. I may edit something, but then again I may not, my head feels maybe a bit too fuzzy to do a good job of it.

In other, other news: someone tell me *why* Dante's Cove is on Season 3 and Firefly never even got a full season 1? Talk about no justice.

Old fic update

After a kitchen sink backup yesterday and finding all sort of old interesting things on the hard drive, I think I shall post an old fic that has been lying around for years. Stargate for variety. I think I've improved somewhat since then, but the jury's still out I think. I shall probably have to post something new for comparison's sake.

Old and *gasp* I don't think I've ever posted it before, for various reasons. I will say that I don't normally subscribe to this version of events, but if I did, then this is sort of how I imagine it would have gone.
