The saga continues...

So flat hunting continues. I have another viewing, weather permitting, on Tuesday. Nice looking place from the pics, closer to the city centre. Also the top end of what I can afford... then I thought about it and decided I have no idea if I can afford it actually. It's been so long since I had to budget like this, I have no idea if I still remember how, or even ballpark figures for things. And this time around I'll almost certainly have to factor a car into the equation as well. I need to be able to comfortably afford my luxuries, aka fannish expeditions. I refuse to trade one variety of stress for another.

Meh. I have another couple of flats I should book viewings for, but the weather's so dodgy at the mo it's hard to know when to try for.

In other news, Christmas present shopping this year is a complete farce. I hit the online shopping out of desperation, but given the weather may not even get that stuff.

In more entertaining news, the Highlander Secret Santas are going up. It'll be interesting to see if anyone guesses mine *eg*
