Seriously. So much to choose from...

Well my initial misgivings after the first 2 eps have been well and truly squished. It was a *really* good ep. Funny and angsty and scary - who else jumped when the thing under the bed moved *even though you knew it would*? And and and *sniff*



I have to ask this because it's going to nag me something chronic and I'll feel happier if it nags other people too...

Did anyone else notice the Jack-ness of the ep? No really. The ship was 51st century and I could be wrong, but wasn't that Jack's time of origin? Then banana references and 'dancing' references... So I have to ask - *why* were they in that century exactly? And since the Doctor made both those comments, did he have Jack on his mind? And if he did... does he know? Of course this kind of hinges on me remembering correctly about Jack's era, but still... worth thinking about perhaps...

Mickey was entertaining, kind of nice to see a companion who's going to bitch about anything the Doctor does regardless. And how out of joint did that leave Rose - heh - okay shouldn't be mean, I liked her almost all last season, but the excessive shippyness of the first 2 eps really put me off. I wouldn't have minded Reinette joining up even though it was obvious she wouldn't. Telepathy thing - weellll - not entirely sure about that, though it's something I've certainly speculated on and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's been hinted, suggested and implied forever, but to actually come out and *show* it... I like that they didn't make too much of it and I can certainly work with it - in fact Reinette's comments tie in so beautifully with a fic of mine...

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, except a smaller squee over next week's ep - I'm setting myself up for disappointment after the last 2 eps, but we'll see how far this run of good eps lasts.

Oh, remembered something - I want a party!Doctor icon - heh :-)

And the Doctor wouldn't hug Mickey *snigger*

I hated that episode ;o( it was horrible and yes there was light - thank Goddess for that but I nearly couldnt' watch it except I was with you guys - I wouldn't have watched it on my own ;o(
I think I can sit through that if David is there though
